Join us for an educational gardening workshop.
Green Bellevue is conducting free educational, hands-on gardening session today from 3-7pm. This week we will be working in 2 gardens.
Led by Nancy Scott, a Nebraska Certified Nurseryman and Master Gardener—recently honored with the Green Omaha Coalition’s Lifetime Achievement Friend of the Environment Award—these sessions are perfect for beginners and seasoned gardeners alike.
We will start at the beautiful pollinator garden at Whispering Timbers pollinator park located off of Childs Road and Moore Drive (See map at: https://maps.app.goo.gl/SjyAfCFizeyPqrrs9). We will go through the park to point out the types of plants, review status. We will mulch thin spots and pull weeds as needed.
Then we will move to Gemini Park, located near the back Offutt gate near Sarpy County Museum. (See map at: https://g.co/kgs/WcYN8py). We will review the plants in the garden, status of the plants and complete any weeding and mulching needed.
Q&A is available throughout the session, feel free to bring specific questions about your own garden.
