54th Anniversary of Earth Day - Planet VS Plastics

Every year on April 22, Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. After 54 years, we still have work to do.

This year, EARTHDAY.ORG is unwavering in their commitment to end plastics for the sake of human and planetary health, demanding a 60% reduction in the production of ALL plastics by 2040.

Be sure to take time to attend local area events to learn more about how to take part in mitigating the effects of climate change. In addition to attending A Party for the Planet, Earth Day in Bellevue and Earth Day Omaha, visit earthday.org for history and global efforts.
